Quarantine 2020

Five months now into 2020, plans have been entirely changed and countries have been on lock down for about two months now. It forces us to come to terms with our panic, fears and the unknown. A month ago I was struggling with believing that this new way of life is our new normal. It is truly a once in a lifetime experience. From a working woman, to now a house wife, experiencing early retirement. Slowly forgetting what it is like to go out in the world worry free. If this quarentine has taught me anything is to be appreciative of the small things in life, and be thankful for whatever is happening. How often do we get a chance to spend time with our families, pets, and children? How often do we get a chance to fully dedicate our time to our hobbies?  However, the catch is, you don't have to be productive in order to feel like your disciplined with time. Wicked the Musical

                One of my  teachers, Mr. Hale, advised me to attend one of his favorite musical concerts after asking for his opinion. “Wicked” is one of the most known musicals in New York City and I chose to write about it for my paper. The amazing music was composed by Stephen Schwartz and the lyrics as well. Also, there is a book written by Winnie Holzman about the story of the witches of Oz. Both musical and the book are based on a novel that has been written by Gregory Maguire. The musical Wicked tells a story about two witches and events happened before Dorothy arrives to Oz. Elphaba is the main character in the musical and the role was played by Anne Brummel. She is the wicked witch of the West. She has the most significant vocals ever.
